Blankets of heavenly guitars wither within pristine drum programming and genderless vocals. The candor of Los Angeles daylight has soaked Toy Light's mind in his latest deed. Glowing and exposed, the urgency of tracks like "Fix You" and "Don't Look Back" offer euphoric latitude while examining mortality and the illusion of identity. "Inhalant" ascends all human form and respires in ether just before "Dwindle" crawls through a sphere of reflective polyphony. Unlike the opener "Candyland" with its continuous pulse, "Lifejacket" dilates into a swell of guitar ambience, ending the piece in total relief.
